Part‑time Night Porter (Hotel)

About the role

The Royal Marine Hotel is seeking a reliable part‑time Night Porter to work 3‑4 night shifts per week, from 23:00 to 07:30, including weekends. The role ensures the property remains clean, safe and welcoming throughout the night while delivering courteous guest support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all public areas, including lobby, corridors and guest facilities.
• Perform regular cleaning duties to keep the hotel tidy and presentable overnight.
• Assist guests and groups with luggage handling, especially during late arrivals and early departures.
• Provide friendly, professional service at all times.
• Conduct routine security checks to safeguard the property.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and enquiries.
• Prepare public areas for the morning shift, ensuring everything is clean and ready.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Physically capable of handling luggage.
• Reliable, responsible and able to work independently.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
