About the role
We are a leading PLC expanding our front‑office team in South Dublin. The part‑time Receptionist will work 15 hours per week, providing a professional first point of contact for visitors and callers while supporting the office’s daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Welcome and guide visitors, ensuring a courteous and professional experience.
- Manage meeting‑room bookings and coordinate room set‑up.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, parcels and deliveries.
- Maintain a tidy reception area and oversee general office tidiness.
- Provide basic administrative assistance to internal teams as required.
- Step up to full‑time coverage during periods of annual leave for the permanent receptionist.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a receptionist or similar front‑desk role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and a friendly, customer‑service orientation.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard office telephone systems.
- Basic knowledge of office software for scheduling and email handling.
