Part‑time Sales Assistant (Wine Retail)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic part‑time Sales Assistant to join our wine shop in Stillorgan. You will be the friendly face of O'Brien's, helping customers discover the perfect bottle while supporting daily store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a positive attitude, providing product recommendations.
• Accurately operate the till and handle cash and card transactions.
• Maintain stock levels, organise shelves and ensure the store is tidy and well‑presented.
• Keep up to date with wine knowledge to answer customer queries.
• Assist with deliveries, displays and occasional store upkeep tasks.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic personality.
• Genuine passion for wine and a desire to learn more.
• Strong focus on customer service and sales.
• Team‑oriented, hardworking and willing to roll up sleeves.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday on a part‑time basis.

Required skills

• Basic till operation and cash handling.
• Stock management and merchandising.
• Product knowledge of wines and spirits.
