About the role
We are looking for a skilled Operator to join our PCB production team at our Carrigaline facility. The role involves hands‑on assembly of printed circuit boards and related mechanical hardware, ensuring high quality and strict adherence to safety and process standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operate assembly, cleaning, and baking equipment to complete specified PCB tasks.
- Prepare components, apply adhesives and conformal coatings, and use torque tools for fastener assembly.
- Perform manual assembly of PCBs and mechanical hardware following SOPs, drawings, and process procedures.
- Set up equipment, carry out process‑related measurements, and conduct routine machine maintenance.
- Inspect, rework, and document PCB assemblies according to established criteria.
- Use the ERP system to transact work orders and complete production documentation.
- Follow anti‑static, safety, and housekeeping requirements, wearing prescribed safety equipment.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of experience in electronic or PCB assembly operations.
- Strong commitment to quality and production targets.
- Detail‑oriented with good problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
- Positive, flexible attitude and good interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Knowledge of IPC7711/IPC7721 and IPC J‑Standard specifications.
- Proficiency in operating torque tools and PCB cleaning/baking equipment.
- Experience applying adhesives and conformal coatings.
- Ability to use ERP systems for work‑order processing.
- Understanding of safety, anti‑static, and housekeeping procedures.
