Operator – PCB Production

About the role

Moog is looking for an Operator to join its PCB Production team in Carrigaline. You will work on a variety of assembly tasks, supporting both routine production and prototype projects under engineering control.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assembly, cleaning, and baking equipment to complete PCB and component builds.
• Prepare components for manual assembly and apply adhesives and conformal coatings.
• Use torque tools and follow formal assembly procedures, drawings, and SOPs.
• Set up equipment, perform process‑related measurements, and carry out routine machine maintenance.
• Inspect, rework, and document PCB assemblies according to established criteria.
• Enter work orders and production data in the ERP system.
• Follow safety, anti‑static, and housekeeping requirements.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in electronic or PCB assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and production goals.
• Positive, flexible attitude with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both standing and sitting for extended periods and handle fine‑dexterity tasks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IPC‑7711, IPC‑7721 and IPC J‑Standard specifications.
• Operation of PCB assembly, cleaning, and baking equipment.
• Use of torque tools for fastener assembly.
• Application of adhesives and conformal coatings.
• Proficiency with ERP systems for work‑order processing.
