Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor – Community Pharmacy

About the role

Allcare is looking for a Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor to join its Stillorgan location. You will be the front‑line contact for customers, delivering high‑quality advice on all pharmacy product ranges while supporting the Managing Pharmacist in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate product information and health advice to customers across all pharmacy ranges, consulting the Managing Pharmacist when necessary.
• Maintain stock control, including rotation, ordering, and ensuring correct delivery details.
• Deliver professional, efficient customer service that strengthens relationships with pharmacy patrons.
• Assist in all areas of pharmacy operations, adapting to the needs of the team.
• Handle over‑the‑counter medicines using WWHAM questioning and refer to the Pharmacist for complex cases.
• Follow security, cash handling, and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, tidy, and report any safety concerns promptly.
• Participate in training programmes and proactively develop the role.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks within the pharmacy environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of over‑the‑counter medicines and WWHAM questioning technique.
• Experience in stock control, rotation, and merchandising.
• Cash handling and basic health‑and‑safety awareness.
