Practice Accountant – Senior Role in Cavan

About the role

We are seeking a Practice Accountant to join our high‑performance accounting team in Cavan. You will work closely with partners to deliver expert advisory and accounting services to SME clients, supporting the firm’s growth and client impact across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Review financial accounts and prepare tax computations for sole traders, companies and partnerships.
• Manage a portfolio of SME clients, ensuring high‑quality service and compliance.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of the practice.
• Collaborate with partners to drive regional growth and client impact.
• Provide expert advisory and accounting support tailored to SME needs.

Required profile

• CPA, ACA or ACCA qualified accountant.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a public‑practice environment.
• Strong attention to detail and solid technical knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, teams and client relationships.
• Commercial awareness and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Willingness to learn, develop professionally and help businesses achieve their potential.
