Privacy Consultant – Europe (Ireland)

About the role

Zaviant is seeking an energetic, detail‑oriented Privacy Consultant to join its European team. You will work directly with clients to design, assess, and implement global privacy programs, gaining exposure to a variety of industries and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Support privacy program assessments, regulatory gap analyses, and risk evaluations.
• Assist in drafting privacy documentation such as policies, notices, DPIAs, and records of processing activities.
• Contribute to data‑mapping initiatives, documenting personal data flows across systems and vendors.
• Configure and maintain privacy management platforms (e.g., OneTrust, TrustArc) for cookie compliance, subject‑rights handling, and consent tracking.
• Research evolving data‑protection laws and translate requirements into actionable client recommendations.
• Participate in client calls, working sessions, and deliverable reviews while maintaining thorough project documentation.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in privacy, security, compliance, or risk.
• Basic knowledge of GDPR, CPRA, HIPAA, GLBA or similar regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Legal Studies, Business, or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a growth mindset and collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Experience or interest in privacy‑management tools such as OneTrust or TrustArc.
