Process Engineer – Product Supply

About the role

Our client in County Waterford is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Product Supply team. The role supports the reliable supply of syringe and vial products to patients worldwide, working within a multi‑platform manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support to the Product Supply APU.
• Deliver continuous improvement projects on existing equipment.
• Collaborate with MSAT, Technical Development, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain.
• Apply manufacturing knowledge to develop higher‑output technologies.
• Ensure safety compliance and support equipment failure investigations.
• Analyse machine performance data and manage improvement projects within budget and schedule.
• Support new product introductions, capacity expansions, vendor selection, maintenance planning, design changes, change controls, OEE and yield improvements.
• Lead systematic technical root‑cause investigations.
• Participate in company safety and quality programs.

Required profile

• Experience working in a highly regulated GMP environment.
• Degree in an engineering discipline.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Proven documentation and protocol generation skills.
• Experience with data analysis of equipment and integrated systems (desirable).
