Process Technician (Polymer) – Weekend Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Process Technician (Polymer) to work the weekend shift in our balloon manufacturing area. The role involves operating polymer processing equipment, monitoring production parameters and ensuring product quality during non‑standard hours.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and control polymer processing machinery used for balloon production.
• Monitor production settings, material flow and equipment performance throughout the weekend shift.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic and electrical issues to minimise downtime.
• Adjust process parameters and material specifications to reduce scrap and improve yield.
• Perform routine maintenance and documentation in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a process or manufacturing technician.
• Hands‑on experience with equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Strong ability to analyse process settings, materials and equipment to minimise waste.
• Medical‑device manufacturing experience is desirable.
• Polymer processing knowledge is desirable.
