Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist supports indirect procurement across Europe, balancing strategic supplier management with day‑to‑day purchasing activities. You will work with a small team to ensure the company receives the best value while maintaining compliance and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Enter purchase orders in Oracle R12 and place orders with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, negotiate contracts and prices, and develop sourcing strategies.
• Manage the European leased car fleet, liaise with lease companies, HR and site assistants, and drive fleet modernization.
• Oversee supplier relationships for office building services in St Priest.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Resolve supplier issues, support iProcurement users, and ensure accurate invoicing and payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, purchasing, engineering, business, finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle R12 ERP system.
