Product Designer (UX/UI + Product Management)

About the role

Great Ponton is seeking a Product Designer who blends strong UX/UI design expertise with product management thinking. In this hybrid position you will own the design journey from discovery to delivery while shaping product strategy and growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end product design, from user research and discovery to high‑fidelity UI.
• Translate business goals and product requirements into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing and leadership to define priorities and contribute to the roadmap.
• Create and maintain scalable design systems and reusable components in Figma.
• Plan, execute, and analyse user research, usability testing and customer feedback.
• Validate ideas through prototypes and testing to support product discovery.
• Partner with engineering to ensure high‑quality implementation.
• Drive growth initiatives via UX improvements, A/B testing and conversion optimisation.
• Analyse product performance using analytics and user behaviour data to inform design decisions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer or similar role with product ownership.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, fluent English.
• Excellent portfolio demonstrating both design quality and product thinking.
• Ability to work hybrid, with four days per week in the Dublin office.
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers in Agile environments.
• Good understanding of product management methodologies and the product lifecycle.
