Product Support & DevOps Engineer

About the role

OMEGA System Ltd is looking for an experienced Product Support & DevOps Engineer to join its on‑site team in Tralee. You will ensure the stability, performance and security of the OMEGA CORE Management System and related infrastructure while supporting internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for product‑related issues, diagnosing problems across application and infrastructure layers.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex incidents involving performance, configuration or security concerns.
• Collaborate with Product, Development and Infrastructure teams to manage product lifecycle, deployments and releases.
• Use Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) to automate provisioning, troubleshoot and optimise environments.
• Implement and improve security best practices across cloud platforms and internal infrastructure.
• Create and maintain documentation and knowledge‑base articles for clients and internal teams.
• Identify recurring issues, propose permanent fixes and drive process improvements.
• Conduct periodic security and compliance assessments and audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical or product support engineering, preferably for complex SaaS or enterprise software.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, security principles and incident management.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
