Production Operator – Conformal Coating

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our Conformal Coating team at Moog Ireland Ltd. You will work on the assembly of printed circuit boards and electronic components, applying adhesives and conformal coatings while following strict quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assembly, PCB cleaning and baking equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Prepare components for manual assembly and use torque tools for specific fasteners.
• Perform manual assembly of PCBs and mechanical hardware according to procedures, drawings and SOPs.
• Apply adhesives and conformal coatings, and carry out prototype assembly under engineering control.
• Set up equipment, conduct process‑related measurements, and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Inspect and rework PCBs and components based on established criteria.
• Complete all required production documentation and transact work orders in the ERP system.
• Adhere to anti‑static, safety, housekeeping and personal tool‑maintenance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven track record of meeting quality and production targets.
• Positive, flexible attitude with good interpersonal skills.
• 2–3 years of experience in electronic assembly or a related field.
• Detail‑oriented, strong problem‑solving abilities and effective time management.
• Personable and able to work comfortably with a variety of people.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IPC7711, IPC7721 and IPC J‑Standard.
• Proficiency with torque tools and PCB cleaning/baking equipment.
• Experience applying adhesives and conformal coatings.
• Ability to operate and maintain assembly machinery.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for work‑order processing.
