Production Operator – Conformal Coating

About the role

Moog Ireland is looking for a Production Operator to join its Conformal Coating team in Carrigaline. You will work on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, performing hands‑on assembly of printed circuit boards and related hardware while supporting engineering prototypes.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assembly, PCB cleaning, and baking equipment according to SOPs.
• Apply torque tools, adhesives and conformal coatings to components.
• Prepare components for manual assembly and perform PCB and mechanical hardware assembly.
• Set up equipment, carry out process measurements and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Inspect and rework PCBs and components based on established criteria.
• Complete production documentation and transact work orders in the ERP system.
• Follow anti‑static, safety and housekeeping requirements.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in electronic assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong commitment to quality and production targets.
• Detail‑oriented with good problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Positive, flexible attitude and ability to work well with diverse teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IPC 7711, IPC 7721 and IPC J‑Standard specifications.
• Proficiency with ERP systems for work‑order processing.
• Experience using torque tools and PCB cleaning/baking equipment.
• Ability to apply adhesives and conformal coatings safely.
