Production Operator – Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Production Operator supports daily manufacturing activities in a regulated environment, ensuring products are made safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role combines hands‑on equipment operation with strict adherence to SOPs and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assembly, processing, machine operation, and packaging according to production plans.
• Follow approved Standard Operating Procedures and monitor process parameters to maintain product quality.
• Operate, start‑up, shut‑down, and change over production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine equipment checks, report malfunctions, and assist maintenance teams with troubleshooting.
• Adapt to schedule changes while meeting productivity and quality targets.
• Complete batch records, logs, and checklists accurately in GMP‑controlled areas.
• Observe health, safety, and environmental policies, using PPE and maintaining a 5S‑organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members, communicate production status, and participate in shift handovers.
• Identify waste‑reduction opportunities and contribute to Lean or Six Sigma projects.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Willingness to work in a regulated (GMP) production environment.
• Good communication skills for reporting deviations and coordinating with maintenance.
