Production Operator – Permanent 2‑Cycle Shift

About the role

Abbott’s Vascular Division in Clonmel is seeking a Production Operator on a permanent basis. You will work a 2‑cycle shift schedule (Monday‑Friday days & evening) assembling and testing medical devices in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures.
• Assemble, repair, inspect and test products according to written instructions.
• Set up and operate automatic or semi‑automatic manufacturing machines and equipment.
• Place labels on packages and attach data sheets to products.
• Clean tools and equipment following documented procedures.
• Record production data on approved documents.
• Dispose of hazardous waste according to safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and work documents written in English.
• Willingness to work the specified 2‑cycle shift pattern.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Mechanical assembly operations.
• Electro‑mechanical assembly techniques.
• Operation of automatic or semi‑automatic manufacturing machines.
