Project Engineer – Industrial Energy Management

About the role

Join a fast‑growing organisation delivering energy‑management solutions to large industrial manufacturers. As a Project Engineer you will support technical energy audits and lead the delivery of efficiency projects across a range of plant systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct energy audits and surveys for industrial sites.
• Design mechanical and electrical solutions for chillers, HVAC, heat pumps and utilities plant rooms.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and technology partners to develop innovative climate‑action designs.
• Manage project teams to meet budget, schedule and energy‑performance targets.
• Maintain strong client relationships in sectors such as food, dairy, pharma and healthcare.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical or civil engineering within large‑scale manufacturing facilities.
• Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, building services or related).
• Proactive, strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (advantageous).
• Knowledge of building regulations, CIBSE/ASHRAE design codes and health & safety legislation.
