Project Engineer

About the role

As a Project Engineer you will drive engineering projects from concept through commissioning and hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality and alignment with business objectives in an ATEX‑regulated environment. You will join a collaborative team that values trust, transparency and continuous development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and hand over systems from conception to sustaining operations.
• Prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS) and scope information for key discipline projects.
• Coordinate cross‑functional SMEs and design consultants during the design phase, including risk and HAZOP assessments.
• Manage project schedules, CAPEX budgets and overall project coordination.
• Interface with and direct contractors during implementation and construction phases.
• Lead commissioning, ramp‑up activities and hand‑over to operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in chemical, food or beverage industrial sectors.
• Strong mechanical and electrical background.
• Proven experience in scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation and scope development.
• Hands‑on experience with P&ID development, HAZOP/SIL reviews and cost estimation.
• Ability to control contractors during installation.
