Project Engineer - Renewables

About the role

Join a leading renewable energy developer in Ireland as a Project Engineer within the PMO team. You will support the delivery of large‑scale infrastructure projects, gaining hands‑on experience across the full project lifecycle from planning to commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of major renewable energy infrastructure projects, ensuring programmes stay on track.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary engineering teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, specialist) and act as the communication hub.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, procurement, contract administration, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Prepare reports, manage meeting minutes, action logs and maintain project documentation to PMO standards.
• Monitor project risks, planning permissions, environmental compliance and regulatory approvals within the PMO framework.
• Work closely with senior project managers who will mentor and guide your development.

Required profile

• Approximately three years of experience supporting large‑scale energy or infrastructure projects.
• Background in renewable energy, utilities or related sectors.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
