Project Manager – Automation Equipment Delivery

About the role

We are looking for a driven Project Manager to own the delivery and implementation of bespoke automated equipment projects for AIR Sligo. You will act as the internal voice of the customer, coordinating cross‑functional teams to bring complex automation solutions to life.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of projects from kick‑off to post‑installation support.
• Ensure User Requirement Specifications (URS) meet customer expectations.
• Deliver complete documentation suites, including quality, safety and end‑user documents.
• Drive timelines, milestones and budgets, resolving resource conflicts.
• Control scope, change requests and facilitate technical/commercial communication.
• Coordinate Design, Controls, Debug and Workshop teams and develop detailed schedules.
• Identify and resolve planning or delivery issues, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain a strong understanding of functional and technical challenges across projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in a similar project‑management role.
• Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Self‑starter with strong attention to detail in an engineering environment.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving ability and initiative.
