Qualified Accountant

About the role

Our client, a progressive accountancy practice in Roscommon, is looking for a Qualified Accountant (or qualified by experience) to manage an independent client portfolio and support the firm’s growth and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality accounting, compliance and advisory services.
• Prepare and review annual accounts, management accounts and tax returns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across multiple sectors.
• Ensure assignments are completed on time and meet quality and compliance standards.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and the firm’s digital transformation.
• Support ad‑hoc business advisory projects as required.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, ACA) or qualified by experience.
• Proven experience in a small‑to‑medium Irish accountancy practice.
• Tech‑savvy, curious and continuously seeking more efficient ways of working.
• Strong analytical, communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
