Quality Control Analyst – Biochemistry & Cell Biology

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Control Analyst with a focus on Biochemistry and Cell Biology to join our biotech manufacturing facility in Dunboyne, Co. Meath. The role is part of a high‑performing QC team that supports the testing of biopharmaceutical products in a GMP‑regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing including ELISA, PCR, bioassays, cell‑culture assays, as well as water and cleaning validation testing.
• Review and approve analytical data and associated documentation.
• Support method transfers, validation activities, equipment qualification and laboratory readiness.
• Participate in investigations, troubleshooting, continuous‑improvement projects and audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or a related discipline.
• GMP laboratory experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Hands‑on experience with ELISA, PCR, bioassay or cell‑culture techniques is preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset; Lean Six Sigma experience is an advantage.
