Quality Engineer

About the role

Amcor Flexibles in Sligo is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to champion quality processes and support the development of the quality department. The role reports to the Quality Manager and works closely with operations, management and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain quality systems and standards to achieve regulatory compliance and good manufacturing practices.
• Implement ISO 13485 and ensure daily operations meet quality requirements.
• Prepare, review and approve documentation and records for QMS compliance.
• Manage change control, material review boards and cross‑functional customer‑complaint teams.
• Coordinate internal, customer and regulatory audits.
• Lead CAPA processes using problem‑solving tools.
• Support monthly management reporting and annual review.
• Perform risk assessments and document mitigation actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, GMP/GDP and regulatory audit requirements.
• Ability to work on‑site and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong documentation and change‑control management skills.
