Quality Lead – Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead to join a fast‑growing organisation delivering major renewable energy and infrastructure projects. In this strategic, cross‑functional position you will shape and embed a robust quality management framework across project delivery, supplier performance, contractor management and operational handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management processes for project delivery and operations.
• Establish supplier and contractor quality assurance and performance monitoring.
• Lead quality audits, inspections and risk‑based assurance activities.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create project quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs) and handover documentation.
• Produce quality dashboards, KPIs and performance reports.
• Support project teams throughout delivery, commissioning and operational handover.
• Capture lessons learned and embed them to improve future project delivery.
• Build a strong quality culture through coaching and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in a Quality Management role within construction, infrastructure, engineering, utilities or renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, NCR management, supplier quality and project assurance.
• Experience developing practical quality processes, governance frameworks and reporting systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness of project risk, contractor performance and operational handover.
• Experience supporting large‑scale engineering or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
