Quality Manager – Lead QMS across Engineering, Construction & Manufacturing

About the role

ROSS Group seeks an energetic and experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department across its Engineering, Construction and Manufacturing businesses. Reporting to the Group Directors, you will develop and implement the Group Quality Strategy, ensure compliance with key standards and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Quality Management activities across Ross Engineering, Ross Construction and Ross Polymer, maintaining compliance with ISO 9001:2018, ISO 13485:2016 and EN 1090.
• Manage internal audits, management reviews and external audit preparation, supporting successful certifications.
• Standardise QMS documentation (SOPs, procedures, forms) across business units.
• Oversee EN 1090 implementation, including fabrication control, weld traceability and CE marking documentation.
• Plan and execute internal audits, identify non‑conformities and drive corrective actions.
• Investigate product failures, manage non‑conformance and CAPA processes.
• Provide ISO standards, process control and quality training to cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with Production and Procurement on product and supplier quality.
• Drive digital QMS initiatives such as data analysis, dashboard development and document version control.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness throughout the organisation.
• Support tender submissions, pre‑qualification and client quality requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or a Quality Management‑related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems implementation and continuous improvement.
• Proven track record of managing audits and achieving ISO certifications.
