Quality Team Manager – FM Approvals

About the role
Based in Dublin, the Quality Team Manager will act as a trusted advisor for FM Approvals’ third‑party testing and certification services. You will lead a small technical team, oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), and ensure compliance with all accreditation programmes and industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage FM Approvals’ Notified Body activities.
- Lead internal and external audits, including surveillance, registration, and accreditation audits.
- Recruit, interview, hire, develop, mentor and retain a technically competent team.
- Investigate and resolve corrective actions for customer complaints, non‑conformances and notifications of concern.
- Create and deliver training programs related to quality, onboarding and revised position requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in quality auditing, process control or QA.
- Proven project‑management abilities and experience managing a technical team.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, both oral and written.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Hands‑on experience with ISO 9001, ISO 17020, ISO 17025 and/or ISO 17065 standards.
- Technical writing experience.
- Project management competence.
