About the role
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients and colleagues at Kirby Group Engineering's Head Office in Limerick. You will manage the front desk, handle calls and correspondence, and support the smooth operation of a fast‑paced construction business.
Key responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients professionally and maintain a welcoming reception area.
- Coordinate and prepare meeting rooms, including equipment and catering.
- Order stationery, consumables and replenish canteen supplies.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, messages and direct queries to appropriate teams.
- Receive, sign for and distribute deliveries and mail efficiently.
- Arrange domestic and international courier shipments.
- Maintain visitor logs, issue passes and ensure security procedures are followed.
- Provide clerical support such as scanning, photocopying and general administrative tasks for various departments.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front‑of‑house or office administration role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence engaging clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Proven administrative competence and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Excellent IT skills.
