Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care – Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join our award‑winning Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) on the night shift. The unit holds the AACN Gold Certification, reflecting excellence in quality, safety, and family satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients using the full nursing process.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of support staff and ancillary services.
• Engage patients and families in developing individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and treatment plans.
• Advocate for patients, delivering high‑acuity care to those requiring intensive monitoring.
• Uphold the hospital’s mission and participate in staff meetings and unit initiatives.

Required profile

• Current RN license in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Conscious sedation certification preferred.
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of cardiac or telemetry experience preferred.
• Hospital and emergency department experience.
• Successful completion of a Level II background check.
