Registered Staff Nurse – Flexible Shifts at Havenwood Nursing Home

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Registered Staff Nurses to join our team at Havenwood Nursing Home in Ballygunner, Waterford. You will provide person‑centred care to older residents, working within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to residents.
• Promote a respectful environment that supports physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
• Provide clinical supervision and leadership to care staff.
• Encourage independence and dignity through person‑centred practices.
• Act as Nurse in Charge when required, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Support inspections, audits and quality‑assurance processes.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification in Nursing.
• Registered with An Bord Altranais (NMBI) with an active PIN.
• Relevant certifications or willingness to complete training in infection control, manual handling, CPR, medication management, safeguarding and dementia care.
• Previous nursing home experience is desirable.
• Strong commitment to delivering compassionate care.
• Flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts.
