About the role
This position is responsible for overseeing regulatory reporting and control frameworks within a global capital markets and corporate lending bank based in Dublin. The role ensures accurate data flow and compliance with evolving regulatory requirements, focusing heavily on control mechanisms.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review regulatory reports across COREP, FINREP/Statistical Returns, and data‑flow controls.
- Monitor and enhance control frameworks to mitigate reporting risks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address regulatory changes.
- Analyse financial data to support regulatory submissions and business objectives.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
- Identify and implement process improvements for reporting efficiency.
- Support audits and regulatory reviews by providing documentation and insights.
- Assist in developing policies and procedures related to regulatory reporting and controls.
Required profile
- Strong background in regulatory reporting with a focus on controls, preferably from a mid‑to‑large bank or a Big 4 audit practice.
- Proficiency in regulatory reporting processes and frameworks, or a genuine interest in regulation.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience with compliance and risk‑management systems.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.
- Relevant professional qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
