Relief Pharmacist – Multiple Stores in Clonmel

About the role

We are seeking a Relief Pharmacist to work across our Clonmel stores (Davis Road, Showgrounds and Poppyfields). This permanent full‑time position provides the chance to gain insight into Uniphar’s brands while supporting a regular roster of locations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Supervising Pharmacist in meeting operational standards and implementing company initiatives.
• Work with the team to find care solutions for customers and patients.
• Support the professional, clinical, ethical and financial running of the pharmacy in line with company and industry regulations.
• Assist in group healthcare and company/marketing events.
• Communicate business performance and new initiatives to the team.
• Participate in staff training events and support team development.
• Report to the Pharmacist Regional Manager on store and employee performance.

Required profile

• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• Previous experience in Irish community pharmacy is an advantage (training provided for other backgrounds).
• Proven people‑management experience.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated with strong clinical knowledge and excellent people skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and commercial awareness.
• Focus on delivering exemplary face‑to‑face interactions with patients and customers.
