Reservations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an organised, people‑focused Reservations Manager to join the Shearwater Hotel & Spa in Ballinasloe, Galway. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for maximising room revenue while delivering a friendly and professional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the hotel’s rooms revenue strategy.
• Adjust hotel rates in line with occupancy trends and market demand.
• Manage online reservation platforms and coordinate group bookings.
• Liaise with the Sales team to align key dates and promotional activities.
• Communicate offers and packages to the Front Office team.
• Achieve monthly revenue and booking targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar reservations or revenue‑management role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and capacity to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with Hotsoft (or similar hotel reservation system) is an advantage.
