Reservations Supervisor

About the role

The Reservations Supervisor will lead the reservations team at Herbert Park Hotel & Park Residence in Dublin, overseeing daily booking operations for both individual and group guests. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures accurate rate entry, maximises occupancy and supports seamless guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage individual and group reservations, monitor room availability and maintain accurate data in the reservations system.
• Respond to guest and partner inquiries via phone and email, providing clear and courteous information.
• Lead, mentor and train the reservations team, ensuring consistent service quality.
• Coordinate with front office and sales departments to resolve booking issues and optimise occupancy.
• Prepare regular reports, review procedures for efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel reservations management, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities with high attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns as required and a collaborative approach with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Experience with hotel reservations systems and property management systems (PMS).
• Proficiency in using booking platforms and basic office software.
• Understanding of revenue or yield management principles (advantageous).
