Residential Support Worker – Children (Autism & Learning Disabilities)

About the role
We are seeking compassionate Residential Support Workers to provide dedicated care for young people with autism and learning disabilities. You will work in a residential setting, helping residents navigate daily challenges and achieve personal goals.
Key responsibilities
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people while following personalised care plans.
- Assist with everyday activities, including personal care, meals, and safe medication management.
- Support residents during difficult moments, using proactive techniques to safely defuse distress and challenging behaviours.
Required profile
- Active NISCC registration.
- NVQ Level 3 in a care‑related subject.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Safeguarding Level 2 and Advanced CPI / Safety Interventions training.
- Proven experience supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex behaviours.

- Hourly rate between £14.06 and £22.49, paid weekly and aligned to public sector rates.
