RT Instructor – Training & Development

About the role

The RT Instructor will deliver and coordinate training programmes for learners with disabilities, supporting them to explore career and education pathways. This fixed‑term position is based on the 7th floor of Phibsborough, Dublin, and involves both instructional delivery and administrative oversight of QQI modules.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑ordinate, deliver and assess QQI Level 6 modules in line with curriculum specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress, assessment outcomes and quality‑assurance documentation.
• Mentor learners through individual meetings, providing feedback and guidance on timetable selection and work attitudes.
• Support learners with additional needs in making realistic vocational choices.
• Produce required reports for internal and external quality standards.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification, preferably in Education or Training.
• Relevant pedagogical or “Train the Trainer” qualification (minimum QQI Level 6).
• Knowledge of QQI programme requirements, assessment procedures and quality‑assurance processes.
• Several years of experience working with learners in educational, guidance or developmental contexts.
• Experience in a mental‑health related setting is an advantage.
