Sales Assistant – 16 Hours per Week

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our Horkans Castlebar store on a 16‑hour weekly basis. You will be the front‑line face of Regatta Great Outdoors Ireland, helping customers find the right outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment while delivering a memorable shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise sales by promoting a range of Regatta, Dare2b and Craghoppers products.
• Provide personalised advice to meet each customer’s outdoor needs.
• Maintain a clean, well‑merchandised and visually appealing store environment.
• Process deliveries, replenish stock quickly and ensure accurate product placement.
• Support the team in achieving store performance targets.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for retail and outdoor activities.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work part‑time hours (16 hrs/week) on‑site.
• Previous retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
