Sales Assistant – Retail Customer Service

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Galway. The primary focus of the role is to ensure every customer leaves the store satisfied, feeling valued and well‑served.
Key responsibilities
- Live the Centra brand values – Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, Community‑Based.
- Provide a positive, friendly attitude and take responsibility for delivering an excellent shopping experience.
- Handle customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.
- Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking shelves and keeping the store tidy to the highest standard.
- Embrace new initiatives and adapt to evolving ways of working.
Required profile
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to engage with and prioritize customer needs.
- Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible.
- Self‑initiative and teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.
- Customer‑driven mindset; previous customer service experience is an advantage.
