Sales Host – Part‑time Gym Sales & Membership Advisor

About the role

Everlast Gyms is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Host to join the team on a 20‑hour‑per‑week basis. You will be the first point of contact for prospects, members and guests, turning every interaction into a sales and retention opportunity while promoting the gym’s fitness culture.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional experience to every prospect, member and guest, using each interaction to drive sales and retention.
• Proactively sell memberships, renewals, upgrades and secondary spend such as food & beverage, retail and fitness products.
• Convert enquiries into memberships through confident objection handling and needs‑based selling.
• Build strong relationships with members, identify at‑risk members and recommend relevant products and services.
• Conduct tailored gym tours aligned with individual goals and upsell appropriate services.
• Achieve and exceed individual and club KPIs.
• Serve as a key holder when required, ensuring smooth opening, closing and shift coverage.
• Learn and master the club’s membership software and related systems.
• Act as a brand ambassador by promoting fitness challenges, classes and initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and gym floor presentation.
• Support the Head Coach with gym resets and ad‑hoc fitness tasks.
• Handle member queries and complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.

• Strong administrative competence.
• Driven, ambitious and eager to learn.
• Passionate about fitness, sales and customer service.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Willing to undertake key‑holder duties as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with membership software (training provided).
