Sales & Marketing Head

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Head leads the integrated commercial strategy and execution for a Therapeutic Area (TA). This senior position owns the TA and brand strategy, defines the go‑to‑market model, drives omnichannel customer engagement, and ensures excellence in in‑market sales execution and launch performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and localize the TA and brand strategy across the product lifecycle.
• Define and evolve the go‑to‑market model based on customer, competitive and performance insights.
• Implement an integrated omnichannel engagement approach to maximize reach and impact.
• Lead forecasting, demand estimation and performance planning.
• Steward TA financial performance through disciplined budget management.
• Plan TA sales territories, targeting, incentives and call planning.
• Drive performance management through reviews, coaching and KPI‑based adjustments.
• Capture field insights to refine segmentation and tactical decisions.
• Align cross‑functional teams (Medical, Value & Access, Execution Excellence, Finance, Supply Chain) for launch readiness and post‑launch performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading commercial strategy for a therapeutic area or similar portfolio.
• Strong track record in brand strategy, go‑to‑market planning and omnichannel execution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasting and resource prioritization.
• Leadership experience building high‑performing, cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management with internal partners and external key accounts, HCPs and KOLs.
