Sample Technician (Laboratory Support)

About the role

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Sample Technician to support the operation of its GFC and Chromatography laboratory. Working with the LIMS system, you will ensure accurate and timely registration and preparation of customer samples, collaborating with internal and subcontracted teams to meet strict deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and ship samples to internal and external laboratories, completing any required customs paperwork.
• Maintain stability sample storage under appropriate conditions.
• Prioritise customer samples based on urgency and specific client requirements.
• Receive, sort, and register customer samples into the LIMS system, ensuring completeness and timeliness.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with partner labs to ensure seamless workflow.
• Collaborate with internal departments to identify and implement service improvements.
• Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, data entry, and document handling.
• Manage sample‑related queries, resolving missing or incomplete information with stakeholders.
• Respond to customer enquiries, providing accurate information to maintain high service standards.

• Willingness to work flexible shift patterns as required.
