Lab Services Technician – Biologics Centre of Excellence

About the role

PSC Biotech is seeking a Lab Services Technician to support day‑to‑day operations of the Biologics Centre of Excellence. You will ensure laboratory activities are coordinated, safe, and delivered on schedule while working in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with team members and cross‑functional groups to align laboratory activities.
• Prepare buffers, media and cleaning solutions (10 mL – 500 L) and verify pH, conductivity, osmolality and other required attributes.
• Document preparation steps and results in Electronic Lab Notebooks (eLN).
• Support study requests from Manufacturing and Quality Control, including bio‑hazardous waste inactivation.
• Perform routine cleaning and calibration of biosafety cabinets, incubators, fume hoods, water baths, freezers and balances.
• Manage LN₂ dewars, monitor freezer temperatures, and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Order raw materials and consumables, and act as primary lab contact for warehouse and shipping.
• Conduct water and condensate sampling for lab RIW, LPUW and clean steam processes.
• Implement 6S practices and monitor alarms on temperature‑controlled units.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with computers and laboratory software.
• Completion of BPD and safety risk‑assessment training.
