SAP Basis Architect – Senior Consultant

About the role

Sogeti is looking for an experienced SAP Basis Architect to design, implement and manage the technical landscape of SAP solutions across the enterprise. You will lead large‑scale SAP projects, including ECC to S/4HANA migrations and cloud deployments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the SAP technical architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise IT strategy.
• Design scalable, high‑availability SAP landscapes for ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM and related components.
• Oversee SAP Basis activities such as installations, upgrades, patches, migrations and HANA database administration.
• Drive cloud migration initiatives on SAP BTP and major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and integrate SAP with middleware and third‑party applications.
• Implement monitoring, disaster recovery, backup strategies and ensure security and regulatory compliance.
• Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks and provide technical leadership to Basis teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and architecture.
• Proven expertise in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
