Search Strategist

About the role

Electronic Arts is looking for a Search Strategist to make EA Help content more discoverable across traditional search engines and emerging AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Bing Copilot. You will ensure technical soundness, optimize performance, and guide teams to implement scalable SEO improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Core Web Vitals and site health using CrUX, Lighthouse, and Screaming Frog, driving prioritisation of fixes.
• Translate search, AI visibility, and site‑health requirements into technical documentation (BRDs, user stories, tickets) and partner with WebOps and IT.
• Lead technical SEO for launches, set standards, and guide teams on scalable implementation.
• Recommend and validate schema enhancements, run regular SEO audits, and flag technical blockers.
• QA Help content for AI answerability and SEO best practices, applying E‑E‑A‑T principles.
• Conduct keyword and prompt research with Semrush, ScalePost, and Google Search Console.
• Define internal linking strategies, track off‑page link health, and analyse competitor citations.
• Own the AI formatting playbook and support game launches with SEO readiness QA.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in SEO, search strategy, or digital optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise‑scale SEO and analytics tools.
• Proven ability to create technical documentation and work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Core Web Vitals, CrUX, Lighthouse, Screaming Frog.
• Schema markup implementation.
• Google Search Console, Semrush, ScalePost.
• Keyword research, internal linking, backlink analysis.
• Familiarity with AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Bing Copilot).
