Security Incident Response Manager

About the role

Stripe is seeking a Security Incident Response Manager to lead and enhance its global incident response function. You will guide a team of analysts, investigators, and responders, ensuring rapid, precise handling of security threats across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a distributed team that triages, assesses, and responds to security incidents.
• Provide technical guidance as a subject‑matter expert and develop clear response procedures.
• Collaborate with security engineering and detection teams to gather requirements and scale response capabilities.
• Define, track, and report KPIs that measure the effectiveness of response operations.
• Develop, document, and maintain runbooks, strategies, and capabilities for incident handling.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster career growth and maintain quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security management and incident response.
• Ability to influence security roadmaps and prioritize project work.
