Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Tax

About the role

Our client, a large multinational group, is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its shared services function in Dublin. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, Tax & Compliance, you will own statutory financial reporting and tax compliance across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of statutory financial statements under IFRS/FRS 102.
• Manage end‑to‑end corporation tax and indirect tax compliance for ROI and UK/NI entities.
• Prepare tax computations, reconciliations and disclosures for financial statements and group reporting.
• Coordinate the annual audit process, acting as the primary contact for auditors on tax and statutory matters.
• Maintain and enhance financial controls, governance processes and reporting accuracy.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives, including tax and reporting digitisation.
• Partner with internal finance stakeholders and broader business units to meet reporting and compliance needs.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 3‑5+ years post‑qualification experience in financial reporting or audit.
• Strong background in statutory reporting and practical tax compliance (non‑advisory).
• Familiarity with IFRS, FRS 102, Companies Act requirements and multi‑entity environments.
• Experience with Irish and UK tax frameworks is advantageous.
