Senior Accountant – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Operations team at Glenpatrick Spring Water in Clonmel. The role offers direct exposure to factory‑level activities, working closely with Production, Innovation, ESG, Engineering and Quality departments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts to the highest standards, ensuring accuracy and supporting details.
• Produce the weekly production pack and perform variance analysis for management.
• Review standard costing versus actual costings for all products.
• Communicate, post and reconcile inter‑company recharges and accounts.
• Prepare and submit all regulatory, tax and statistical returns on time.
• Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of annual budgets.
• Manage stock control and perform reconciliations across multiple stock locations.
• Support implementation, maintenance and improvement of the stock management and IT systems.
• Liaise with external auditors and senior leadership team as required.
• Maintain a strong financial control environment and continuously improve processes.
• Assist in the preparation of Grants and R&D tax credit claims.
• Act as point of contact for complex AP/AR escalations and contribute to Finance team initiatives.
