Senior Accountant – Revenue Recognition

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant – Revenue Recognition to join Siemens Digital Industries Software’s Revenue Recognition team. In this role you will ensure compliance with global revenue recognition standards and deliver insightful financial information to management.

Key responsibilities

• Govern and maintain policies related to revenue recognition across the organization.
• Provide guidance and oversight on complex transactions, collaborating with sales finance, order administration, IT and other accounting functions.
• Advise on appropriate revenue recognition treatment for each transaction.
• Perform revenue analytics and manage an automated revenue application within an end‑to‑end business process.
• Support the deployment and optimisation of SAP ERP and other finance‑reporting tools.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a for‑profit environment.
• Strong accounting knowledge, analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Experience working in a fast‑changing, international setting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Project work, data analysis and process‑establishment experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site 2‑3 days per week.
