Senior Analyst - Finance Operations

About the role

This senior analyst position supports finance operations in a fast‑growing international company. You will own critical reconciliation, reporting and cost‑analysis activities that safeguard billing integrity and inform strategic decisions. The role is remote‑first, offering exposure to global operations and complex financial workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly cost reconciliation and reporting to ensure billing accuracy and prevent revenue leakage.
• Partner with Accounts Receivable and cross‑functional teams to validate payroll‑related costs and resolve invoicing discrepancies.
• Perform Gross vs. Contra reconciliations and support month‑end closing, including accruals and financial reporting.
• Investigate cost variances, provide actionable insights, and act as a subject‑matter expert for finance operations inquiries.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve scalability and efficiency of reconciliation workflows.
• Participate in internal projects aimed at streamlining end‑to‑end financial processes.
• Deliver ad‑hoc financial analyses, scenario modelling and reporting to support strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Financial Analysis, FP&A, Controlling or related fields.
• Strong expertise in reconciliations, operational finance processes and cost management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for large‑dataset analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management abilities in cross‑functional, international environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑growth setting.
