About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Payments Developer to lead the creation of card‑acceptance applications on point‑of‑sale (POS) devices. The role is part of a legacy modernisation programme and will be performed remotely from Ireland.

Key responsibilities

Design and implement robust, secure Android software for payment terminals, including PAX devices.
Lead development of card‑acceptance applications on POS devices.
Collaborate closely with QA, product and programme teams to ensure high‑quality releases.
Drive payment certification processes with major card schemes.

Required profile

Senior‑level professional with proven experience in Android development for payment or POS solutions.
Strong understanding of security requirements for payment applications.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
